Summary:

Sally Diamond cannot understand why what she did was so strange. She was only doing what her father told her to do, to put him out with the rubbish when he died.
Now Sally is the centre of attention, not only from the hungry media and worried police, but also a sinister voice from a past she has no memory of. As she begins to discover the horrors of her childhood, recluse Sally steps into the world for the first time, making new friends, finding independence, and learning that people don't always mean what they say.
But when messages start arriving from a stranger who knows far more about her past than she knows herself, Sally's life will be thrown into chaos once again . . .

Verdict:

Liz Nugent has come out with some amazing novels and this is no different, Plot is absolutely amazing , intense and in tricked. Book deals with so many topics ,some quite unsavoury but so well done that they are treated well in the story line. From the start we get drawn in to the main character Sally but as the story unfolds it moves between 2 timelines and 2 main characters ,that move story back and forth which I found good to keep you hooked and invested in Main characters. There are so main twists and turns along the way, just when you think all is revealed Liz manages to cleverly drop in another surprise...they just keep on coming all the way. Author has excelled herself with this book.

As a reviewer, I feel it is necessary for me to be 100% honest , so there are 2 negatives for me personally, and they should be no means turn anyone off reading this book. Firstly, as I have stated in past reviews too many characters floating around a story tends to frustrate me as a reader as I get a little confused at time, but this is just something as a reader I find, and it was an issue for me in this book, although all characters were essential and had a valid roll to play in developing this story in its form.

Secondly , I did not like the ending ,again personal opinion. After so much going on in the story , I felt that there was unfinished business at the end. With all that said , it was an excellent read and a story that will remain with me for some time to come.
